Who We Are
Current team sports were originally designed (a long time ago) to be fun to play and without any thought toward the spectator. Grid League is the first team sport specifically intended to be fun to watch.
It is the ultimate race based game requiring intense teamwork, high skill athleticism, and in-depth strategy. It is easy to follow, extremely exciting, and fits with the modern attention span.
Most importantly – it is the world’s first, spectator team sport featuring men and women competing alongside and against one another. This leads to unique, compelling, and dramatic story lines like you have never seen before.

The key parts of Grid League
Two teams going head to head in a series of races. Teams accumulate points based on race outcomes. The team with the most points at the end of the match, wins.
A series of athletic movements called elements to be performed as the head coach decides. These races are consistent in rules and structure from match to match but vary in element based on the match format of the day.
The collection of elements used within the races for a given match. Different match formats create different requirements around player use and strategy that must be planned for by the head coach. The match formats are set prior to the Season.
The playing surface features two parallel lanes each with a start line, finish line, four quadrants, and hash marks along the side that are used in some races. There is a central rig between lanes used for bodyweight elements. This layout enables clear visualization of race progress for both competitors and spectators.
A head coach led group of players featuring an equal number of men and women with diverse body types and athletic backgrounds. Each team contains certain positions including strength specialists, bodyweight specialists, and utility players.
A traditional team sport format including city based teams, a regular season, playoff and Championship. The Championship winner earns a large cash prize.
